Read verses 1-5 again, but this time read them the way Paul wrote them. What is Paul so mad about in verses 2-3? 4. What is Paul's hang up with the law? Why is he arguing against it? 5. What is Paul arguing in verses 6-9? What is unique to his argument? 6. What does the law do for you? Can you live by it? 7. What did Christ do for us? Really think through, as Paul is doing, what did Jesus do? 8. What is a covenant? 9. What is Paul's argument concerning that covenant? 10. What does Paul compare the law to? Why? 11. What is the purpose of the law again? 12. What is Paul doing for us in this chapter? What are these words? 13. The final 3 verses of the chapter are so crucial and meaningful, especially in today's society. Why is this? 14. What does it mean to be an heir? PART II 1. What is a covenant? 2. What does it mean to be a prisoner of sin? 9. How did the law function? 10. What does it mean to clothe yourself with Christ? 11. What does it mean to be "one in Christ?" 12. How do Gentiles become Abraham's seed? What is the reward? 13. Does God make good on his promises?
