1. Who wrote this book? Who was with him?

2. Why is Paul and apostle? For that matter why is Paul a Christian?

3. To whom was the book written? Background on Collosae and its church and the possible heresies Paul is addressing in this letter.

4. What is the Word of Truth? Why is it significant?

5. Who brought the Word to Collosae?

6. What is Paul's prayer for these people and what is he praying that?

7. Where was the Christian and what has happened to him?

8. List that attributes of Christ Paul mentions?

9. What is Paul counteracting in verses 15-20?

10. What was the condition of the Colossian Christian before God's work began?

11. What does Paul say about Christ's earthly visit?

12. Paul is confident and encourages (cf. 2 Cor. 5:3, Eph. 3:2, 4:21) the Colossians to be "established and firm, not moved..." Why is hope such a crucial part of the gospel?

13. Why do we continue to preach the gospel if as Paul says in 60 AD, it has been proclaimed to "every creature under heaven?" And, why so relatively few Christians then? (cf. Acts 13:48)

14. What is the fullness of the Word of God? Why does Paul preach it?

15. To whom has the mystery been revealed and why? What is the focus of Paul's preaching?
